So I thought I would get busy (seeing as it wasn't actually raining) and strip the frame. I got almost there but the pedal crank shaft will not come out - time to consult the manual, after all there's no point in bashing away at it if doesn't come apart the way I think.....OK, all the bits are ready for painting (well they're going to a local paint shop) and he will give me back the frame and swing arm first, perhaps the silver bits too.
